Be a part of our mission to combat food insecurity among the brave families who support our military heroes.

Dear Community Leader:

I am writing to extend an invitation for you to become a part of our upcoming Feeding Military Heroes Food Drive. The challenges faced by military families extend beyond their duty to our country, and one such challenge is food insecurity. Shockingly, over 22,000 active-duty families, 213,000 National Guard/Reservist families, and 1.2 million Veterans grapple with food insecurity.

Since 2022, the Satellite Rotary Club of Military Family Support has been dedicated to alleviating this issue, and the impact of our efforts has been substantial. We’ve provided over 27 tons of food and essential supplies Army, Marine Corps and Navy families through the Pelican Pantry at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, the Marine Corps Camp Pendleton Food Pantry and the food pantry 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Blackhorse Chapel, Fort Irwin. Our March 2025 food drive will expand to servicing four military installation by including the food pantry for Air Force and Space Force families at the Los Angeles Air Force Base.

To keep these pantries well-stocked, we are collecting food staples at the location noted on the enclosed flyer.  We can also provide you with a donation box that includes a poster-sized version of the flyer for your convenience.
