San Dimas, CA – The Satellite Rotary Club of Military Family Support is thrilled to share that with our most recent food drive collecting more than three tons of food, we have now surpassed 30 tons of food collected since 2022! This incredible milestone would not have been possible without the generosity, hard work, and dedication of our volunteers, donors, and community partners.
Our mission is to ensure that no military family faces food insecurity, and thanks to your unwavering support, we are making a real, tangible impact. Military food insecurity continues to affect over 22,000 active-duty families, 213,000 National Guard and Reservists, and more than 1.2 million veterans across the country. Your contributions provide critical relief to those who sacrifice so much for our nation.
A Community United for Military Families

Since launching this initiative in 2022, we have remained committed to supporting military food pantries and service members in need. This latest donation will directly benefit military families at:
- Pelican Pantry at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms
- The Food Pantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton
- Families at Fort Irwin and Los Angeles Air Force Base
Our efforts would not be possible without the volunteers who work tirelessly to receive, inspect, categorize, and prepare donations for transport. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the major volunteer groups who have made this mission their own:
- Roskam Foods
- San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S
- GFWC La Verne – San Dimas
- Stars and Stripes Ministry, Holy Name of Mary
- San Dimas Masonic Lodge No. 428
Your dedication ensures that every donation is carefully prepared and reaches military families in need.
Honoring Those Who Met the Secretary’s Challenge

- Adalyn Tibbets
- Lennon Tibbets
- Alexis Calcaterra
- Andrea Calcaterra
- Mike McKeon
- Don Jansen
